Since 1990, Flowers After Hours has held its position as Auckland's renowned floral sanctuary, providing an effortlessly accessible avenue for indulging in luxurious blooms 7 days a week. Tada has been intricately involved in ad hoc content creation and social media support since 2019. Thus, when new ownership took the reins in 2022, it was only fitting for us to engage in a subtle rebranding endeavour.

While refraining from a complete overhaul, we honed in on enhancing typography, refining colour schemes, and orchestrating a seamless interplay of framing these foundational elements together on social media platforms and a new web design. Our approach seamlessly elevated the pre-existing brand, enhancing it into a more distinguished and luxurious identity that resonates with discerning customers.

Given the nature of the longstanding wordmark logo, the choice of typeface holds paramount significance – it serves as the literal face of the brand. This entails treating it with due reverence, ensuring correct kerning, and investing in a typeface that possesses timeless qualities.

We have updated the font of the wordmark to one that exudes timelessness, with kerning meticulously adjusted to create a sense of unity and coherence within the mark. A delicate equilibrium is sought between the weight and kerning of the "FLOWERS AFTER HOURS" title, the dividing line, and the "Parnell" qualifier. The stacked logo iterations to be applied when spatial constraints arise. This perfectly aligns with the luxury brand trend of blanding, delivering a polished aesthetic when applied in practice and ensuring brand recognition and resonance, even in the absence of the logo itself.
